Welkom Volkskool is situated on 40 Jana Street, Doorn, Welkom 

Academic excellence is non-negotiable for us! At Welkom Volkskool, exceptionally high priority is given to academics.

The Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS) are still fully implemented. The learning material is well organized and according to Departmental requirements set out in the various textbooks.

Parental involvement in learners’ academic development remains of paramount importance. The curriculum has a lot of content and therefore requires daily and continuous attention from each learner in the classroom, as well as at home. Improving learners’ reading and spelling abilities remains a necessity, which requires daily motivation from parents and educators.

Welkom Volkskool learners perform above the set performance level set by the various Departmental facilitators for the region.

Welkom Volkskool boasts highly qualified, trained staff in the academic field who are committed to the complete development of each learner.
